Gummiwerk KRAIBURG is the origin of the over 75-year success story of the KRAIBURG Group. Founded in 1947, the company has continuously evolved and is now a leading manufacturer of rubber and silicone compounds.
Gummiwerk KRAIBURG is organized into seven operational areas reporting to the CEO: Accounting & Controlling, Engineering Services, Operations, Sales, Development & Analytics, Purchase, Logistics & IT and Central Units.
Dr. Darijo Mijolović joined BASF in Ludwigshafen in 2002, following his graduation in chemistry and the completion of his Ph.D. at the University of Regensburg. During his tenure at BASF, he held various management positions. In 2013, he transitioned to KRAIBURG TPE, where he assumed roles as Director of Corporate Product Innovation, later Corporate Product Management and Director of CDA (Advanced Development). In 2018, he was appointed Director of Corporate Quality, Safety, Energy and Environment. Since 2021, he has been the CEO of Gummiwerk KRAIBURG.

After completing his Ph.D. in chemistry in Karlsruhe in 1999, Dr. Frieder Vielsack joined KRAIBURG, initially as a developer at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG. He then became Global Product Manager at KRAIBURG TPE and later Head of Advanced Development. Today, he is Director Development and Analytics at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG.
Dr. Christian Meermann has been Director Global Sales at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG since January 2022. The doctor of chemistry began his career at Ticona/Celanese and most recently worked for DSM Engineering Materials. He has extensive experience from management positions in international sales and marketing of plastics.
Stefan Hubl began his career at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG in 2003 as a plant operator after completing his apprenticeship. Throughout his career, he has continuously developed and been promoted to management positions. Between 2017 and 2019, he completed a professional master's degree in management and IT, which significantly enhanced his expertise. Since 2024, he has been Director of Operations.
Günther Beisser began his career at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG in 2001 as an electrical designer and project manager in plant engineering. After 18 years in this position, he took on the position as team leader in 2019. In September 2021, he was appointed Director of Engineering & Services.
Kai Röpke, a graduate industrial engineer (FH), has been with Gummiwerk KRAIBURG since 1993. He was responsible for setting up the order center at the sister plant in Geretsberg, for internal and external logistics at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG (1996-2001) and for raw material procurement (2001-2003). Since 2003, he has been responsible for purchasing at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG and raw material procurement at KRAIBURG Austria, as well as the logistics and IT.
After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Landshut in 1986 with a degree in business administration, specializing in accounting/controlling, Uwe Dittrich began his career at Vereinigte Aluminium Werke (VAW), where he held various management positions. Since 2000, he has held several management positions at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG and has been Director of Accounting since 2021.
Andreas Marksteiner began his career at Gummiwerk KRAIBURG with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk. He gained extensive experience within the company through various positions and tasks, as well as a part-time degree in business administration. In 2016, he moved to the Human Resources department and has been Head of Human Resources & Social Services since 2021.
